Most companies that invest in have CRMs configured to fit their needs purchased a big brand generic CRM. One reason why it cost so much to configure the generic CRMs is that you have to pay a consultant to tell them what you want, then pay them to configure it. Finally, you need to pay them to reconfigure it after they missed the mark. SalesDrip was designed by a freight industry veteran who built the system to address the specific needs of the freight industry.
Our business is seasonal. How can I budget for this throughout the year? +

Industry specific saves time and money on configuration and execution.

I’m thinking about selling my business. How do I best prepare? +
Best practice is to clean up your database, ensure your opportunity funnel is legitimate, create training manuals for each position in the company and add them to our learning module. Businesses are systems to generate profit. The better the system, the better the profit. If you can show a potential buyer that you have a solid system that can continue to grow without the owner's involvement, you have a strong chance of selling at a higher multiple.
I need to make some cold calls. Which days and times are best? +
Best days / times for cold calls in the freight industry are as follows: Tuesday 1 to 5 pm; Wednesday all day; Thursday 1 to 5 pm; Friday 2 to 5pm Note - the best time for cold calls is Friday after 2pm.
I’ve started to work from home. How do I s- how my boss how committed I am. +
Be certain to log all of your activities, esp calls even if you didn't connect. Logging activities automatically generates reports that can be viewed in real time or the another date. PRO TIP: When completing a call from your To Do List, best practice is to edit the activity and change change the activity type to reflect how the call went. Add notes if possible then complete and save. Management may be suspicious of lots of calls that were marketed completed with no notes. It suggests that the user didn't make the call and simply clicked Complete.
How do I get the shipping manager to take my call? +
Keep trying and be polite. Try calling at different times of the day and different days of the week. They will respect your persistence when you finally reach them. Be sure you've researched them so you can make a great first impression.
I’ve purchased call lists only to be blocked time and time again. What can I do? +
If you purchased a call list, chances are that thousands of competing sales reps have the exact same data. Often the contacts on those lists have multiple phone #s and email addresses. The phone #s and emails on the lists often are routed directly to an unmonitored voicemail or a spam folder. Once your domain is in the spam folder, your future emails will be blocked. The reason this is done is to discourage the buyers of that data from engaging the contacts. Best practice is not to use the data on those lists.
I’m really happy with my free trial! What do I do next? +
